RI) along with five Democratic senators urging the Supreme Court not grant cert to “political ‘projects” like a case from New York challenging gun regulations. The Democratic letter went on to warn the Court that is may be “restructured in order to reduce the influence of politics” if such cases found their way to the Court’s docket.
