It
makes
no
sense
to
say
that
some
individuals
who
failed
the
bar,
according
to
the
State
Bar’s
standard
of
competency,
are
deemed
qualified
because
they
helped
the
State
Bar
by
participating
in
an
experiment.

An
excerpt
from
a

letter
written
by
California
law
school
deans

sent
to
the
state
Supreme
Court,
requesting
that
judges

block
the
state
bar
from
using
Kaplan
materials

on
the
February
2025
bar
exam,
and
asking
for
an
“across-the-board”
score
boost
for
applicants,
rather
than
a
score
boost
just
for
those
who

sign
up
to
take
experimental
versions

of
Kaplan-written
exams.
