They
put
a
lot
of
resources
into
the
U.K.
piece
and
as
a
result,
you
saw
a
lack
of
resources
in
the
U.S.
People
said,
‘You
know
what?
I
can
go
elsewhere
and
be
supported
with
resources
and
be
more
profitable.’

the
“dwindling
support”
the
firm
has
offered
to
U.S.
partners.
Six
years
after
Bryan
Cave
merged
with
Berwin
Leighton
Paisner,
the
combined
firm
is
reportedly
considering
further
mergers
after
slow
with

a
loss
of
nearly
50
lateral
partners.
“I
think
the
firm
needs
a
merger
or
some
other
transaction,”
another
source
told

“It’s
not
apparent
to
me
it
will
be
able
to
continue
on
its
present
course
in
the
long
run.”
